Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 June 2026
Solo Apps Studio ("the studio", "we") is a one-person independent developer. This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit this website. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell anything to anyone, and the only data you actively give us is an email address if you choose to subscribe.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (via Firebase Analytics) to understand how it's used — which pages are viewed, which game links are clicked, and general, aggregated information such as device type, browser, and approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address. To do this, Google sets cookies / identifiers in your browser.
This data is processed by Google as our analytics provider. We use it only in aggregate to improve the site — we do not attempt to identify individual visitors. You can opt out using Google's Analytics Opt-out add-on, your browser's cookie controls, or a tracker-blocking extension. The site remains fully functional with analytics blocked.
Hosting
The site is served by Firebase Hosting (Google). Like virtually all web servers, it records standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, user-agent) for security and reliability. These are handled by Google as part of the hosting service.
Newsletter
If you enter your email address in the "Stay in the loop" form, we store that address (in Google Cloud Firestore, part of Firebase) so we can email you about new releases, betas, and devlogs. We don't use it for anything else and we don't share it. You can unsubscribe at any time via the contact form, and we'll delete your address.
Links to other stores
Game and app links point to third-party stores and platforms — including the Microsoft Store, Apple, and itch.io. Once you follow one of those links, the destination's own privacy policy applies; we have no control over it.
Your choices & your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you (realistically: an email address, only if you subscribed or messaged us), and ask us to delete it, at any time, via the contact form. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we'll honour reasonable requests regardless of location.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
